Social participation in the quality of health services in the Huancavelica region-Peru.

Abstract
The quality of health services is a challenge for any health system. Objective to explain how the social participation of stakeholders influences the quality of health services at the first level of care in the Huancavelica region 2018.. Materials and methods: A non-experimental causal cross-sectional design was used and two samples were considered: 112 workers from 56 health centers and 384 external users. Two questionnaires were formulated with a total of 64 items; linear regression, Pearson's coefficient and coefficient of determination were used. Results 57% stated that there was social participation in favor of the quality of the
health service and 61% considered that the quality of the service was regular, the Pearson correlation coefficient was 0.83, indicating a strong positive correlation, the p-value (sig) was 0.000 below the 0.05 significance level. Conclusion It was demonstrated that the social participation of the actors has a favorable influence on the improvement of the quality of health services at the first level of care in the Huancavelica region; likewise, it was shown that the greater the social participation of the actors, the better the results obtained.
